Why does the site name specifically reference Kirby Super Star Ultra?
It was one of my first Kirby games, and my introduction to Marx! I actually hated him at first because he betrayed Kirby. He grew on me, clearly. I have fond memories of playing the game on my DSi, hiding under the covers at night.
Wings & Things
Why is there so little merchandise of Marx with his wings? It could be because of how complex the design is with the many color changing hexagons. It also could be because they're "too creepy" and therefore less marketable. It makes sense.Still, I hope to see a plush of Marx with his wings someday, or even merchandise of Marx Soul!
& Magolor?!
Marx and Magolor have a strange relationship to each other. They are often released near each other in the same merchandise sets, and even appeared together on the official Kirby twitter. They share a lot of similarities, and in fan content they are often depicted as “homies, or more”. But in the games, we’re not even sure they know each other! Magolor makes a few references to Marx in Kirby’s return to Dreamland and Super Kirby Clash.I hope they will appear together in future games!
"The Dark Ages" (Pre-2017)
Besides the pencil case listed in the "Other" section, there was merchandise released before 2017. Most of these are in the form of collectable cards. These artifacts are very cool and rare, and lack documentation online. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or resources to hunt down information on these items. So, if you see any of these in the wild, count yourself lucky!
